Best Practices

  1. 1Always read the arc_storyboard_plan YAML first — episodes must follow the arc
  2. 2Minimum 6 authored panels per episode — stub markers are a CI block
  3. 3Excellence-gate PASS is 'authored candidate' at most — never bestseller
  4. 4After authoring, hand to Pearl_Manga_Editor for the QA gate
  5. 5Use Qwen only for CJK6 unattended lanes — English is always Claude

Do Not Use For

  • Storyboard planning — that's Pearl_Manga_Storyboarder
  • Self-approving — every episode needs Pearl_Manga_Editor before commit
  • Calling it 'done' on gate PASS — gate PASS = structurally clear, not production-ready
