Best Practices
- 1Always specify atom type (HOOK/REFLECTION/SCENE/etc.) and target brand before authoring
- 2Author-observer voice only — never confessional, never first-person struggle
- 3Every batch goes to Pearl_Editor before commit — never skip the gate
- 4For flagship cells, reference the canonical CANONICAL.txt atoms as voice anchors
- 5Keep HOOK atoms scene-first: open on a specific moment, never an abstraction
CLI Examples
# Author a HOOK atom act as pearl_writer — author 5 HOOK atoms for devotion_path × grief × caregivers, en-US # Repair thin section pearl_writer: expand this TEACHING_STORY from 280 to 450 words — author-observer voice # SCENE atom pearl_writer: write a SCENE atom for way_stream_sanctuary × burnout — 2nd person, specific moment # After authoring # Always hand to Pearl_Editor next: pearl_editor: QA this batch — check HOOK-SCENE-FIRST-01 and author_observer voice
Do Not Use For
- CJK authoring — route to the locale agents
- Git operations — Pearl_Writer writes prose, never commits
- Bypassing Pearl_Editor — the gate exists because register drift is real
